Présentation

• La route nationale 548, ou RN548, est une ancienne route nationale française qui reliait Sisteron (RN85) à Châteauneuf-de-Chabre (RN542).

Historique

• A sa création, en 1933, elle est définie comme la route de Sisteron à Laragne par Ribiers.
• Le trajet de Châteauneuf-de-Chabre à Laragne se faisait alors via la N542.
• Dans les Hautes-Alpes, elle est issue du chemin de grande communication Gc24 (05). Le tronçon de 2 km dans les Basses-Alpes était classé dans la voirie vicinale en tant qu'annexe d du chemin de grande communication Gc4 (04).
• Suite à la réforme de 1972, la RN548 a été déclassée en D948.
